Apple has announced that the company is donating 10 million masks to the medical community in the United States, and millions more for the European areas hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. Royal Philips, a global leader in health technology, announced an increase in the production of critical care products and solutions to help diagnose and treat patients with coronavirus. Hewlett Packard committed to donating millions of dollars in technology and support to help students, families, and communities. Furthermore, HP’s President and CEO Enrique Lores issued a call-to-action to companies and business leaders to step up and help in overcoming obstacles during the coronavirus crisis. Companies are invited to join the World Economic Forum’s COVID Action Platform, among many other groups, companies, associations, and charities to respond to the world’s greatest needs during the spread of COVID-19. Individuals are offering up their best tips and advice for staying sane, healthy, and calm during this unprecedented time pandemic. Here at DNA Digital Marketing, we are in the thick of it, as well. We are very fortunate, in that much of our work can be done virtually - from anywhere we have a computer and the Internet. But while we can work “sheltering in place,” many of our clients cannot. They offer products and services that require face-to-face interactions. Their businesses are shuttered. We are working with our brick and mortar clients to create alternative business models and creative options to help them weather the storm. It’s difficult, to say the least. Each of us is likely struggling in multiple areas - family relationships, job worries, health concerns - during this time. There are no easy answers. We are all doing what we can to get through this day, in the hopes that we have done our best to “flatten the curve,” keep our loved ones safe, and survive economically once we get to the other side.
